1st Post on my Food Blog: Cou Cou Bar Restaurant (Bantayan Island, Cebu)

So let's begin...

You'll find this small place (Cou Cou Bar Resto) in the very peaceful Island of Bantayan. Yeah, I really mean that word peaceful coz it really is. Here's a sample of their beach.

Do I need to say more?

It's just WOW! A real paradise!

This Cou Cou Bar H&R is only a bike away from our hotel, Kota Beach Resort. Oo, tama ang nabasa niyo. Bike is the common way of their transportation. Merong mga trikes and motorcycles pero majority of them bike ang ginagamit na transportation. Matipid na dahil walang gasolinang kailangan, nakakatulong pa sa environment at sa health nila. Mauutak din ang mga taong to eh. Simpleng buhay lang pero makikita mo ung saya at tuwa sa kanila.

We rented our own bikes to use in our food trip-pings. P150/ 24 hours. Sulit!

And here are the foods that we ordered:

Chef's Salad - One of the best salad dressing I've tasted. Tamang-tama lang ung saltiness and creaminess nung Thousand Island dressing. Fresh veggies plus the parmesan cheese on top, perfect combination.

Pansit Bihon Guisado -  This is not your ordinary pansit.  They say this is only good for 1 person but looks like it's good for sharing. This is also to celebrate my Papa's Birthday. Happy birthday Papa

Beef with Broccoli and Cashew Nuts - Very unique by putting some cashew nuts over.
The sweetness of the oyster sauce is just right, plus the fresh broccolis. Good!

Lechon Kawali - Kakaiba din tong lechon kawali nila, mukang fried liempo.
Nothing new from this dish, basta ang kapartner nito is toyo na may calamansi, swak na swak to!

Crispy Pata - Good for 2? Uh-ah! Pang-2 groups siguro!  This one is my favorite. Sobrang crispy and tasty up to the bones.  Tapos ung presentation very okay sa akin. Bagay na may fish crackers! Sobrang sarap din ng saw-sawan nila, ubos na ubos walang tira.

So that's it for now for my 1st post on my food blog. I hope you guys like it. Thanks!

Happy eating!

  1. Hello,
Nice pics of the food. It would be more helpful if you mentioned the food prices as well.

    1. Hi!
Yeah, I'm sorry I forgot their prices but I assure you it's not that pricey; 150-250 per dish. Anyway, thanks for dropping by. Have a good day! :)
